With loveheart day fast approaching (which I intensely loathe), especially as I am not a flowers person, I have been thinking what my alternate gift list would be. Men forget taking out the bins -get the flowers and the chocolates and one of the below and I am sure there will be love a-plenty in the air.
1 Zaggora capri pants – okay was loving the hotpants but love love the capri pants. Have been wearing them like leggings and the piece de resistance was that I can now fit into the size 10 evening gown that I foolishly bought when I was 36 weeks pregnant and cried over. 2 When TD was 7 weeks, I had to squeeze into several evening dresses for my brother’s wedding days (!), but as I could not exercise and had to eat healthily, I turned to the lovely Jane of Janeplan – www.janeplan.com who delivered to my door a month’s supply of meals and snacks that would help me be healthy but help me lost weight. 3 Bee venom mask – still loving this too. As Princess A and TD have been playing tag in the waking on alternate nights, my skin has suffered and with work and meetings, so have turned to this to give me a boost. Deborah Mitchell and heaven is where it is at.
4 Something cheeky – now my sense of cheekiness ranges far! But gorgeous undies which are comfortable are something women do want. Crotchless pants and tassle bra – no thank you..
5 Some me time… whatever way this can be obtained and then some you and he time… that is far harder.
6 An evening a deux (see 5 above) – and I so want to go to Nightjar, which my lovely friend Helen has blogged about.. looks very very cool. see Helen at thislondonladyloves.blogspot.com
7 Or an evening with good and old friends – which is where his nibs and I will be on Valentine’s night. Wine, food and chat – lovely.
8 What else… support for my charity causes but everyone knows about those already.
I can think of plenty more…. but whatever you do/get - just enjoy.
